Supporting SEND Families & Challenging Cultural Stigma

Meet Sharleen

A speaker, advocate and a parent raising a child with SEND. I know firsthand the emotional, practical, and cultural challenges families face — especially within ethnic minority communities where stigma can run deep. Through lived experience and a holistic, trauma-informed approach, I help schools, parents, and professionals break down cultural barriers, build understanding, and create emotionally safe environments for children with special needs to thrive.
